This past week, I had the pleasure to be invited by Hotel Jen for a wonderful staycation. Located in the western central district, Hotel Jen is a boutique hotel branch from the Shangri-La Group. We were offered the Club Mountain View room with a scenic panorama of the luscious hills and skyscrapers. After we checked-in, I couldn’t wait to explore what the hotel had to offer!P.S. Make sure to keep scrolling to the end to watch my first vlog and see what I was up to during our stay!8:00amBreakfast in bedWe were greeted with breakfast in bed first thing in the morning with a full English breakfast, fresh orange juice, breakfast tea and a fruit platter. A little embarrassing but I accidentally spilt breakfast tea on the bed sheet while attempting to do a flatlay… go me.9:00amGetting ready for the dayI loved how the bathroom in our room had a dressing room light that was perfect for doing my makeup and getting ready in the morning!10:00amWork on projectsI had anticipated to check out the exclusive Club Lounge that was complimentary to our room stay package ever since we checked-in. This was a great place that was quiet enough to work as well as enjoy a peaceful view of the harbour.12:00pmLunch time! MalaysianI’ve heard great things about the Malacca Café having a reputation for their famous Malaysia food, and it definitely did not disappoint! The food was so good that I couldn’t get myself to stop eating, I especiall loved their beef rendang curry!3:00pmReading and nappingSince it started to rain outside, I decided to stay in the room and catch up on a much needed read and a little nap. Always a good idea, especially since I’ve been feel quite stressed lately... (more on this here!)5:00pmSunset dipRight on top of the exclusive Club Lounge on the top floor was a rooftop pool! I was so happy that the sky decided to clear up and we sky started to light up with a stunning sunset.7:00pmDrinks at the loungeAfter a refreshing dip, I quickly got ready for the evening cocktails and canapes at the Club Lounge that they had on everyday. Always a good idea to end the day with a glass of processo overlooking the city view, wouldn’t you agree?11:30pmGoodnight!To conclude my stay, I had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Jen. The room we were offered was certainly nice and cozy for yourself or 2 people to sleep in. I was very impressed with the exclusive Club Lounge access and the facilities that were included! If you’re looking for a relaxing stay or in Hong Kong for a business trip, this is a great place to consider since it very accessible as it’s also right next to the mtr station!Have you ever had a staycation?
