How to Style: Weddings
In spirit of spring and wedding season, I’ve teamed up with Melissa Bui Atelier to show you different ways on how to style for a wedding as a guest! I’m beyond thrilled to be attending 2 destination weddings this year! And tomorrow I’m excited to be attending a wedding in Germany! This will be the first non-Chinese wedding I’ll be attending and I’m curious to see how different it will be! If you want to know more, stay tune for a vlog video coming soon!P.S Make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to watch the video Melissa and I did together at her studio! So without further ado, here are the 4 outfits Melissa picked out for me for any wedding occasion I may be going to.1. Church Ceremony WeddingA body hugging dress is perfect for any formal event, with the high boat neckline in the front but a low cut in the back. This gives a more conservative look in the front with a little party in the back! What’s great about this dress is that it also has pockets and detachable ruffles to clip on if you’re feeling more feminine. 2. Outdoor Garden WeddingThis second look is paired with a bright yellow one shoulder ruffle top tucked under a lace skirt with a side slit. Not only is this a great combination for an outdoor wedding, the light fabric allows the you to stay breezy even under the summer sun!3. Black Tie WeddingGoing for a less conventional look here for a black tie wedding. Melissa paired this white off shoulder top with a pair of wide legged pants. The embroidery detailing on the sleeves add a unique touch to the top with a very flattering silhouette and peplum shape at the bottom.4. Classic WeddingA simple dress can go a long way when it’s wore well. This last outfit is a simple strapless lace dress that is tightly fitted and very flattering when wore alone or layered under a dress shirt. This is a great pick for a classic wedding and all you have to do is slip it on and pair them with some earrings and heels!
