Inside An Insanely Beautiful Airbnb
If you have seen my insta stories a while back, I have given a little sneak peek of my stay at probably the best Airbnb! Truth be told, there are a number of stunning Airbnb’s to stay in Europe, and I happen to stumble upon this one listing in Puglia that caught my eye as I was scrolling through the site. I took one look through the gallery album of the place and it solidified my decision to book it right away! If you didn’t think Airbnb could not only provide accommodation but an experience of a life time, this one is it! SHOP MY LOOK
Making a rental stay truly feel like home takes talent. But this apartment mastered it so well, it’s even goes beyond just any home. The pastel painted walls with carefully curated vintage and antique furnishing gives life to each room with a different story to tell. Located in the heart of a small town called Martina Franca in Puglia, this apartment was built in 1880. As a newly restored apartment (based on the size it was more like a mansion to me) it was originally built by our host’s great grand father and inherited by the next generations.This apartment displays an Italian charm and warmth that invites its guests into a well curated and equally comfortable home. An antique piano sits on one side of the living room, which features collection of oriental and European artwork and keepsakes. The other side features a huge framed mirror that hangs over the softest velvet like sofa. Centered in the space is a glass table, set with various coffee table books and antique candle stands that compliment the living-room perfectly. The kitchen was even stocked with an abundance of local produce such as fruits, cheese, bread and everything to make a great breakfast!My personal favourite about this Airbnb was the common space. As you enter the apartment, you are greeted by a pair of plush royal blues arm chairs that sit side by sit in front of a library of books. I loved how the turquoise painted walls complimented so well with all the other colours used within the space, such as the red tiled floors and Moroccan inspired rug. The best part about this Airbnb is that it doesn’t break the bank. Don’t be deceived by how grand and magnificent this place looks as it’s surprising affordable! For a 2 bedroom apartment that can easily accommodate 4 people, it’s a steal for anyone passing by the area in Puglia.
